Eternal Creator who shepherds me, I have all that I need. I sit down in tall grass. I wade in calm water. My soul is constantly shifting, adjusting, expanding, unfolding. Truth steers me to paths of righteousness and I honor that guidance. Even in the Valley of Death’s Shadow I will not give into evil. I am not alone. The great Mystery is nearby. I feel it’s power and I draw strength from it. In front of me is a fully set table, though behind me adversity stalks. But my life is anointed. My cup overflows, and I will invite all that is good and kind to be with me all the days of my life. That is what it means to dwell in the house of God even while existing here on Earth.
